Our Director, Mr. R.K. Shah, has been in the international trade business for 29 years and has travelled to about 105 countries in the world. He worked in various Textile companies in Indonesia and has developed a global network of partners and associates over the years through his business and travels. Shacomtex Pvt Ltd was established to cater to the needs of international clients for their procurement of material from India. In the years 1980 - 1996, Mr. R. K. Shah
was working in the Sultanate of Oman, Indonesia and Singapore, before he came back to India. When he shifted to India in 1996 for good, he realized the opportunity and potential of Shacomtex, with his knowledge of international markets and his extensive business network.
Mr. Ratan Shah, the Marketing Manager of Shacomtex has a background in Chemical Engineering and Supply Chain. He has a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology USA, specializing in the area of Nanotechnology. He also has knowledge in the areas of Textiles, Chemicals, Polymers, Supply Chain and FDA Regulatory Guidelines. In addition to 2 years of combined Research experience in the areas of Polymers, Nanotechnology and Particle Technology, he has 2 years’ experience with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) in New Jersey USA as a Material & Supply Chain Analyst. His work experience at J&J, which involved daily communication with over 150 Raw Material Suppliers on Product and Quality Issues and his Technical Expertise have helped him to understand the Market requirements on both ends of the Supply Chain.
